Controversial Nigerian relationship expert Blessing CEO has confirmed the death of her son, Bryan Onyedikachi, while denying authorising anyone to solicit financial assistance on her behalf.
The confirmation came after Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Foundation, announced the death in a viral video on Friday evening and appealed for financial support for Blessing CEO.
Blessing, who is currently in prison, reportedly lost her second son during her incarceration.
However, in a phone conversation with actress Doris Ogala, Blessing said she did not give Agiye permission to announce her son’s death or raise funds on her behalf.
Sharing the recorded conversation, Ogala urged people who had donated money to the fundraising effort to seek refunds, alleging that Blessing was unaware of the appeal.
“Please oo, if you have donated money, go and collect your money back from that lady. Blessing says she doesn’t know the lady. She didn’t ask her to raise money for her,” Ogala said.
The actress also claimed that Blessing was already close to completing her bail conditions and process, disputing claims that she was soliciting N56 million for bail.
In the recorded conversation, Blessing confirmed that she had not authorised anyone to raise funds for her and said she believed she should have been the person to announce her son’s death.
“I didn’t give anybody consent. And I think I’m in the best position to break the news of my son’s death, not an entire stranger,” she said.
